Found on the coastline between Skerries and Balbriggan, the Ardgillan Castle is one of the many tourist attractions and historic sites in Dublin. It’s sat within one of the most beautiful parks in the city, too, with incredible views and beautiful, manicured flora.

The park is a massive 194 acres, consisting of woodland, flora, fountains and monuments. It’s an incredible place to spend the day, whether you’re sightseeing or just enjoying a picnic with the people you live.

Ardgillan means a high-wooded area, and the place is also a sanctuary for a variety of animals and birds – so animal lovers will have a whale of a time, too.

The impressive castle was built way back in 1738, and today, still stands tall. It’s a beautiful building that reflects Ireland’s incredible history and culture.

Rooms on the ground floor of the castle are wheelchair accessible, and there are many other rooms available within the building that are open for viewing. So if you want a great day out with the family, then the castle is perfect.
